Shopping!!
having been shopping these few days in klang. Why? because back to mentakab then donno where to shop, and things there may be more expensive.
i went to Jusco and Klang Parade. oh dear, i found that penang's goods are a lot cheaper than here! not much of discounts here, many of the shops don't even have discount! grr..!!
in addition, though there may be discount, it was not a good deal either. it is because the mark-up price was high! imagine, a bonia handbag is sold at rm150, and discount 70%. at first glance, you thought it's a good deal, but in penang, i can get 3 bags at rm 10 each! so outrageous!! here, a belt costs rm 18 after discount; in penang pasar pagi? rm 5 only ah!
at first i thought another option is shopping in KL, nonetheless, KL is a high-costliving place, can the thing there be any cheaper? i doubt it.
furthermore, in penang, i was spoilt with choices. even a pasar pagi outdoes those two hypermarkets.
lesson learnt: i should have bought everything i need and i want in penang before i left.
conclusion: penangites, appreciate the pasar and prangin mall and tesco and thai stall etc. if you lack of any clothes, buy! if you feel like wanting to 'bun leng leng' (gloom yourself), by all means... bleh...

haha, finally i got to update my blog! oh gosh! looking at my last post, it's two year ago leh! how diligent!
well, things have been running quite well: got transfered to mentakab along with hubby, same town, smooth house moving...
a new environment, for sure. it may take me some YEARS to adapt. after leaving penang for only 5 days, i am missing penang already, missing the church friends, students, colleagues, food, supermarkets, our flats, etc.
thought hubby knows mentakab, having been away his hometown for years, he might not know everything either. so both of us have to learn together. uuu, challenging...
